more environmentally friendly. By minimising chemical
use, water and reduce rubbish and waste. We hope to
assist the school with a worm farm shortly.
The Soil Food Web Institute and Southern Cross
University Environmental Analysis Laboratory have both
offered to do independent testing for this wormtec worm
extract trial with the Coombabah state school students.
Since the schools opening in 1981 they have utilized a
chemical fertilizer program and now their gardens and grounds have stopped responding to
these synthetic fertilizers. Wormtec along with two
Coombabah school classes are running organic soil
improver trials on the sporting oval, The students are
getting a hands on approach to soil testing and how soil
